HK BIble Conference

I helped as ushers for the bible conference, together with my cell members. Actually not much thing to do as people are very polite and disciplined.
The message last night, which was the 2nd night of the annually held bible conference, was "Change". We need miracles. What is miracle? Work of GOd or Steps of God. JOhn 2 talks about Jesus changed water to wine, it is just a parable of JEsus work in human's life--change of life--from ordinary life (water, sth usual) to "a life to the the full" (wine, sth tasty)

To expereince change of life, we need to
1. submit to GOd's souverignty, i.e. allow God to change us, mold us, shape us.
2. Take iniative to change i.e. to be determined to change just as Mary would listen to JEsus so that water can be turned to wine.

Conclusion:
We need to strive to grow in CHrist, don't just stay satisfied with being a ordinary Christian but a GENUINE Christian.


By the way, last night, we got the sermon collection of last year's bible conference. Then I read the first sermon given by Pastor James Cheung/Chang at the revival meeting. It was so inspiring to me, every words are reminding me of God's love and his grace. Then I recalled last year, i was there, and one important message: BE thankful for what you still have! Give Thanks to God. And I found I had almost forgotten to thank God for all the things I have, as I　ｈave take those things for granted. Then I start to count my blessings. Praise the Lord. He has been so faithful to me. Without HIM, I don't know how would my days be.
