San Jose and Los Angeles

this is my 3rd day in USA for my trip. I am now in LA with my friend. They have a little girl named Lucy, lovely. We just have been to beach --Venice Beach, this morning. However, the weather today is not very nice, its cold and froggy.
Venice Beach, as its name, Venice, it has some bridges like the Venice in Italy. ANd the houses around the river are just so exquisite. I would I could be dwelling in there too.
Along the beach, not many people swim because its really cold today and its weekday. So we just walked around and I tried to observe some people culture there. So, there are many "strange people" there. There are tattoos shops, and also people selling products of different religions, and some artistic people doing and selling paintings. But I feel that area is kind of complex, it's like a lost city, I can see people of different ethnic groups ,drug users and dealers, and some wounderers. So anyway, I see the other side of the U.S or California.
I didn't go to Universal Studio or Disneyland cuz it's kind of rush and my friend's baby girl is sick, so she has to take care of her and I rather her not to go out with me.
It's like a baby siting experience for me today as I took care of Lucy awhile. And I am sure its exhausting job to be a mother.

I had much sharing and gained insights from Lydia, who is wife of Chris.

Ok. back to my 1st and 2nd day in San Jose.

2nd day--12 Feb
Took bus from San Jose to LA. quite a long way. Indeed, i am physically tired. My body needs some stretch. My neck is very sour now.
At night, Chris had a home church group. We had bible study, dicussion and singspiration. So nice to meet some friends. They are so keen to learn cantonese and mandarin as well. So we ended at around 10pm. Also, many of them are couples, so I learned much of attitudes of love and marriage from them.

1st day--11 Feb
Arrived San Franciso Intl Airport at around 11pm. NOt really tired at that time. BUt i felt sooooooooo sleepy around 3 0r 4pm, cuz it was mid night in HK which I was supposed to be sleeping. And I had to stay awake as I wanna adjust to the jet lag. Finally I slept at around 10pm as I couldn't stand anymore.
Well, I really hate the US customs. They always asked questions rudely and in a way like I am a criminal. If possible, I really hoped I won't be travelling the states anymore. ANd definitely, I won't choose to move, to work or study in U.S. I mean my friends are nice, the people are nice. But the government is too.......paranoid. (I mean they are paranoid at sth they shouldn't)
Throughout the flight, I didn;t sleep much...maybe just around 1 hr. Then just sometimes talked with the guy sat next to me, and also watched some movies. It's ok to have a talkable person to talk with during a long haul to kill the boredom...but well, not for a too talkative guy. Luckily, he didn't ask me for any contact. Oh really God bless.
